Vinterhi

Så kom cyklen i hi. Min dejlige kæreste ville ha den til at stå i stuen, kan man ønske sig mere. Det er jo et fedt møbel. Hvis boblen ku komme ind stod den der osse.. :-)

Westy window

Yesterday I got my freshly painted sliding door mounted - complete with my newly restored westfalia window. Before I had an awful looking door with two peepholes in it.
Really think it suits the car, and Jens (the mad painter) did a great job on the door - thanks!

Last wednesday we decided to have break from wrenching and start up the grill - which has been in hibernation mode for almost 7 months now...

And a picture of my other substitute, when the 2275 aint windy enough. My type of cab ;-)

Visit from the friday gang.

Friday evening we had a visit from the local friday gang. About 30 people turned up. These guys meet together on fridays to check out each others cars and projects. During the summer they meet at the local parking lot by the highway in Ikast to some serious tire-kicking.
The event is open for everybody with interest in vintage cars - no rules here.
Nice for a change to talk to someone outside the vw community - thank you for a great evening.

Plade racer with centerlines... and slicks.
One day maybe...

Just tripping.

Both Jens and I have in the past week bought a 120km trip speedo.
These are not very common and I have been looking for one for years, and suddenly they just seemed to pop up everywhere.
Both these babies are going in their seperat 54 ovals, is´nt that just sweet?

This time I have taken inspiration from our 6Volt friends in Norway and put on a 6Volt babe, I hope you like her?!

1/4 NOS oval

I just bought this NOS piece of sheet metal for a early oval.
Not sure if I dare to use it, but is nice to have :-)
